I went two times and the last day at the Everglades was fantastic, our boat captain Nadim was amazing; he took us to different areas and we saw three crocodiles. When he did the "Tokyo Drift" we were all astonished, great maneuvering and control. The facilites are clean and everithing is very well organized. Very sage and highly recommended. I will be back! Thank you

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Darius was amazing. Took time to answer our questions and did not make us feel like we were bothering him. Quite a memorable visit and Darius made it unforgettable with the new knowledge that he delivered to us about snakes, alligators and crocodiles. Tashon Shockey Raleigh NC

The tour was amazing, from the bus driver Mr Blanc, he was super nice and funny, to the tour itself. The boat ride was good and the captain made sure we all saw the alligators, the show was also good. The. You can hold a gator or a snake and take a picture. We loved it.

My kids are 11 and 5. The airboat ride was cool and the driver knew his stuff. Even more than the boat ride, my kids absolutely loved the walk through the zoo area. There was tons to do and see, and it wasn’t crowded at all. We spent about 3 hours there. It was definitely worth the cash, and I’d totally recommend this!

Took our two 16-year-old grandkids here as part of their week with us for the summer. Arrived and found plenty of parking. It was a warm day so we got there early to enjoy the walking activities through the wildlife exhibits before our airboat ride. A lot of different animals on display. The gator feeding around noon was the highlight for us. The airboat ride was about an hour long and boarding was well organized. There wasn’t a canopy over the seating area so it was pretty warm. We didn’t zoom through the water like on other tours we’ve been on. The captain stopped periodically to narrate what we were seeing and look for specific wildlife. There’s a nice gift shop inside and the meals we got as part of our package were decent. Not sure our grandkids were blown away by our choice for an activity, but then again they’re 16. This is a great spot to spend most of the day with your family for some memorable fun.

Awesome experience, we went on an early morning tour and didn't have to deal with any lines. The guide was really knowledgeable, and we were lucky enough to spot a gator!

Tips for visiting the Everglades from Orlando

  • Leave early Plan to leave Orlando around 7:30am–8am to avoid traffic on the Florida Turnpike and reach Wild Florida in time for morning airboat tours. Arriving early also increases your chances of spotting active wildlife like alligators and birds.
  • Dress light and comfortable: Wear breathable, moisture-wicking clothing such as cotton t-shirts, shorts, or lightweight pants, and a wide-brimmed hat to protect from the sun. Sunglasses and a light long-sleeve shirt can also help shield you from both sun and insects.
  • Bring bug spray: Even if Orlando feels mosquito-free, the wetlands are full of insects, especially near the marshes. Apply a strong insect repellent before leaving the city and carry a small travel-sized spray to reapply during your visit.
  • Carry snacks and water: Pack at least one bottle of water per person and easy-to-eat snacks like granola bars or fruit. While Wild Florida has a small café, having your own refreshments ensures you stay hydrated and energized during airboat rides and safari drives.
  • Check your ticket details: Confirm whether your tour includes roundtrip transportation from Orlando, Gator Park entry, or Drive-Thru Safari Park access. Knowing exactly what’s included helps you plan your day efficiently and avoid unexpected additional costs.
